BIOS Setup
IDE HDD Block Mode
Enabled The IDE HDD uses the block mode. The system BIOS
Disabled The IDE HDD uses the standard mode.
IDE DMA Transfer Access
This field is used to enable or disable the DMA transfer function of
an IDE hard drive.
On-Chip Primary PCI IDE and On-Chip Secondary PCI IDE
These fields allow you to enable or disable the primary and second-
ary IDE controller. The default is Enabled. Select Disabled if you want
to add a different hard drive controller.
IDE Primary Master/Slave UDMA and IDE Secondary Master/
Slave UDMA
These fields allow you to set the Ultra DMA in use. When Auto is
selected, the BIOS will select the best available option after checking
your hard drive or CD-ROM.

RAID This option enables the RAID function for Serial ATA
AHCI This option configures the Serial ATA drives in AHCI
