How to process a Refund transaction

If a customer returns a purchase, or if an incorrect amount was charged, a refund can be
processed as follows:
Note: Refunds may only be processed where there was an initial valid transaction on the
same card.

Wait for printer
If you have elected to print a receipt, the screen
will display a picture of a printer to indicate it is
printing a customer receipt.
Action
Navigate through the main menu to the Refund
option and press the touch screen or enter the
number of the menu item using the keypad.

Key the refund amount, e.g. $5 = 500.
If a correction is required press the

password to be entered.
Key in the merchant password and press the touch
screen or the
MERCHANT
Once the correct password is entered the terminal
will proceed to the next screen in Step 4.
