INSTALLING BUFFING
WHEELS
To install the buffing wheels on the CT188:
Make sure the cord is disconnected from
the power source.
Remove the arbor nut.
Install spacers on the shaft (spacers are not
needed when mounting several wheels on
the shaft).
Slide the inner wheel flange onto the shaft.
Slide the buffing wheel on to the shaft and
butt it against the inner wheel flange.
Slide the outer wheel flange and butt the
flat side of the flange against the buffing
wheel.
Tighten the arbor nut on to the shaft. Make
sure the buffing wheel is firmly held in place
and the hex nut is snug against the outer
wheel flange. Use additional spacers (not
supplied) if required.

Install the second buffing wheel on the
other side of the buffer in the same manner.

TEST RUN

Once you have mounted your machine, it is
then time for a test run to make sure that
the machine works properly and is ready for
operation.
During the test run if there is any unusual
noise coming from the machine or the
machine vibrates excessively, shut off the
machine immediately and disconnect the
cord from the power source. Check all the
parts you have assembled, once again and
investigate to find out the problem.
To test run the machine:
Make sure you have read and understood
the safety instructions given in this manual.
Connect the cord to the power source and
turn ON the machine.
The machine should star with little or no
vibration.
Let the machine run for a few minutes and
turn it OFF.
WARNING!
Do not make any adjustments while the
machine is running. Failure to do so
could result in serious personal injury.
