Installation
Terminating an external tape drive
If your external tape drive will be at the physical end of the SCSI bus,
push the external terminator provided onto either of the SCSI
connectors on the back of the tape drive enclosure. If the tape drive does
not terminate the bus, you will connect SCSI cables into both connectors.
After installing the terminator, skip to page 31.

Important:
If you have an internal SCSI device
attached to your SCSI adapter card (for example a hard
drive), you must remove the terminators from your
adapter card. Refer to the adapter card manual for
instructions.
