Other route steering indications and alerts

Route steering indications in the Route Information box
Permanent alerts appear in the [Route Information] box in red in any the steering
mode. In the example below the "Off track" value is shown in red when the vessel is
outside the channel.
Route steering alerts
Alert "150 Early Course Change Indication" appears before you arrive at a next
waypoint.
Alert "152 Wheel Over Line" appears if, for example, the speed is decreased more
than the waypoint approach alert time + 100 seconds away from the wheel over point,
after the user has acknowledged Alert "151 Actual Course Change Indication" to
activate the next automatic turn. After the Alert 152 appears, the next turn is not acti-
vated and the system generates a new Alert 151 when appropriate.
Alert "153 Track Control Stop" appears when the heading signal is lost .
Note: This alert may be regenerated after acknowledgement. If this occurs, acknowl-
edge the alarm again.
Alert "156 Sensor Failure" appears when there is no gyro data or the conditions of
Alert 156 have been valid for the last minute.
Alert "158 Course Difference" appears when there is a large difference between the
planned course and the current course.
Alert "172 Off Track" appears when your vessel is off track.
Alert "260 Backup Navigator Alarm" appears if there is a problem with the backup
navigator.
Alert "652 Last WPT Approach" appears when your vessel is near the last WPT in
the route monitored.
Alert "667 AP Receive Error" appears when the ECDIS cannot communicate with the
Autopilot. Change the steering mode to AUTO.
Alert "675 Use MAN Steering" is instruction for the user to change the steering mode
to AUTO or HAND. This alert is generated if there is not enough conditions to continue
the TCS.
Alert "689 Drift Comp. Error" appears when the drift is greater than 45 degrees,
which is the maximum drift that can be compensated.
