Troubleshooting

Problem
Fixture is completely dead.
Fixture works normally but
other fixtures connected to
power output on rear panel
are completely dead.
One or more fixtures
responds incorrectly to DMX
control or does not respond
at all.
One or more fixtures
displays stand-alone
sequences incorrectly or not
at all.
LEDs cut out intermittently.
LCD display dead when
fixture is connected to
power.
LCD display dead when
fixture is not connected to
power.

Probable cause(s)
No power to fixture.
Primary fuse blown (located in
fuseholder on rear panel).
Power output circuit is defective (may
have been overloaded).
Fault on DMX link.
Incorrect fixture addressing.
Fixture defective.
Other device on DMX link defective.
Fixtures incorrectly set up.
Fault on DMX link.
Incorrect fixture addressing.
Fixture defective.
Other device on DMX link defective.
Fixture is too hot.
Fixture software is corrupted.
Onboard battery flat.
Battery defective or at end of service life. Contact Martin for replacement.

Remedy
Check power and connections.
Isolate fixture from power. Check fuse and
replace.
Contact Martin Service for assistance.
Inspect connections and cables. Correct poor
connections. Repair or replace damaged
cables.
Check fixture is set to correct DMX mode.
Check number of channels required by
fixture's DMX mode and check fixture
addresses.
Have faulty fixture serviced by Martin service
technician.
Bypass devices on DMX link until the faulty
device has been identified.
Have faulty device tested and serviced by
Martin service technician or device supplier.
Check settings in control menus.
Inspect connections and cables. Correct poor
connections. Repair or replace damaged
cables.
Check number of channels required by
fixture's DMX mode and check fixture
addresses.
Have faulty fixture serviced by Martin service
technician.
Bypass devices on DMX link until the faulty
device has been identified.
Have faulty device tested and serviced by
Martin service technician or device supplier.
Ensure free airflow around air vents.
Clean fans and vents.
Check that ambient temperature does not
exceed maximum permitted level.

software upload.
Connect to AC power to recharge battery.
