6.5  Adjusting the Wheel Lock (Fig�50/51)
Tochangethepositionoftherearwheels,firstloosentheattachmentscrewsoftheclampadapt-
ersofthewheellockandpushthewheellockforward(Fig.50).Thenrepositiontherearwheels.
Thewheellockshouldthenberemountedsuchthatthedistancebetweenthetyresandbrake
blockismax. 4 mmwhenthewheellockisnotactivated(Fig.51;subjecttotechnicalchanges).
CAUTIOn
Accident risk. Thewheellocksareonlyeffectivewithsufficientairpressureandproperadjustment.
Theproperairpressureisindicatedonthesidewallofthetyre,butshouldatleastbe3.5 bar.Toen-
suresufficientbrakingeffect,useonlyoriginalrearwheelswithanapprovedradialexcursionofmaxi-
mally± 1 mm.
