54 ENGINE OPERATION
■ EFO type
① S e t t h e R e v e r s e L o c k L e v e r
provided on the starboard side to
"Release" by turning it downward.
② Tilt the engine up approx.
45°and lower it. The engine will

now be set to the shallow water
setting.
Reverse

③ Releasing the shallow water setting
a. Tur n the Reverse Lock Lever
upward to set them in "LOCK"
position.
b. Tilt up the engine slightly and then
let it go down. The shallow water
setting is then released.

at normal running position.

Tilt up the engine using the Power
Trim & Tilt system.
