· Remove the stanchion and slider assembly "5" from
the vice.
· Turn stanchion and slider "5" over to drain oil into the
container.
NOTE Make sure the damping cylinder rod does
5
not come out while draining oil
20.1 FILLING THE FRONT FORK "ÖHLINS"
NOTE
Make sure to have the special tools A
(no.AP8140424) and B (no.AP8140149) ready at
hand before proceeding
· Keep the stanchion and slider assembly upright and
fit the two shells of the special tool (B).
· Raise the washer and the damping cylinder assem-
bly.
· Pour oil for "ÖHLINS 1309"
until reaching the correct level (measure level with a
special metering stick).
Oil level: 105 mm (from slider rim).
