Options available in the dialog are:
•
Power ON: powers on the server.
•
Power OFF: powers off the server. This option is not available if
the server is configured in restricted mode for EMP operations.
•
Post-power-up option: sets the server mode to EMP active or
BIOS redirection. The setting is effective at the next power-up. The
default selection is EMP active.
•
Cancel: exits the dialog with no action taken.
•
Help: displays dialog-level help information.
Reset the server remotely
Selecting Reset from the Action Menu generates the Reset dialog so that
you can remotely reset the server with POST reset options.
Options available in the dialog are:
•
System Reset: resets the server with the selected POST reset
options. This operation is not available if the server is configured
in restricted mode for EMP operations.
•
Option Group: sets the POST reset option that will be effective
after reset. The options are EMP active or BIOS redirection. The
default selection is EMP active.
•
Cancel: exits the dialog with no action taken.
•
Help: displays dialog-level help information.
