5-3. Drive Auto Adjustment

When the [1] key of remote commander is pressed from the initial menu, the automatic adjustment menu appears as shown below.

STOP: Press STOP Key
Select [0: ALL] normally and perform automatic adjustment starting from the single layer DVD adjustment, CD adjustment then dual layer
DVD adjustment. At the same time, the manual adjustment of individual item, is also available which shortens the returning time when
errors occur during adjustment. The machines are easily adjusted by following the messages shown on display when the automatic adjustment
is selected. The internal code numbers are shown in the EMG column when errors occur during automatic adjustment. Refer to the
"Emergency Code Table" for details of the emergency codes. When the key either [0] or [1] or [2] or [3] of remote commander is pressed,
the confirmation message appears as shown below. When you agree with the message, press [ENTER] and automatic adjustment starts.
Another item number can be selected by pressing the desired item number if [ENTER] is not pressed yet. Automatic adjustment can be
stopped and return to the initial menu at any time when you press [STOP].

When [0: ALL] is selected, contents of EEPROM are cleared and settings are all initialized.
In the case of basic machine, adjustments are performed in the following order.
"5-3-2. [1] DVD Single Layer Disc"
"5-3-3. [2] CD Disc"
"5-3-4. [3] DVD Dual Layer Disc"
Disc tray comes out at each adjustment. Exchange the disc with the disc specified by the message. When the correct disc is inserted, the
corresponding adjustment starts.
