1. INTRODUCTION The HDMI and IP over Single CAT5e/6 Transmitter and Receiver set is capable of sending HDMI (uncompressed audio/video), 3 Ethernet connections and control signals (through the built-in RS-232 and IR ports) over a single CAT5e/6 cable up to a distance of 100 m (300 ft). The transmitter can be powered from the receiver via Power over Ethernet (PoE) and the HDMI bypass is designed to allow display of the source signal at the control point.
