TROUBLESHOOTING - - Continued
PROBLEM
Scrub head continues to
disperse water when using
accessory tools.
Poor water pickup.
Excessive foam/cream appears
on the floor during ReadySpace
cleaning.
Unable to adjust brush pressure
meter in the green zone or meter
shows no reading.
Short run time.
Tennant 1610 (10- -05)
CAUSE
Solution Switch is turned on.
Full recovery tank.
Worn ReadySpace rollers.
Clogged vacuum shoes.
Wrong rear vacuum shoe installed.
Clogged float shut-off screen inside
recovery tank.
Loose recovery tank drain hose cap.
Loose or disconnected vacuum hose.
Clogged vacuum hose.
Defective vacuum hose.
Recovery tank lid is not in place.
Worn tank lid gasket.
Cleaning detergents were added to
solution tank.
An unapproved pre--treatment
cleaning detergent was pre--sprayed
on the floor.
Worn extractor brushes.
Tripped circuit breaker.
Loose or broken front brush motor belt.
Low battery charge.
Defective batteries.
Batteries need maintenance.
Faulty charger.
Home

OPERATION
SOLUTION
Press solution switch to accessory tool
symbol (off position).
Drain recovery tank.
Replace rollers.
Clean vacuum shoes.
Install correct vacuum shoe.
Clean screen.
Tighten cap.
Connect hose cuffs securely.
Remove clogged debris.
Replace vacuum hose.
Properly position lid.
Replace gasket.
Drain and rinse out solution tank and
refill with water only, do not add
cleaning detergents.
Use an approved pre--treatment
cleaning detergent.
Replace brushes.
Reset brush circuit breaker button.
Contact Service Center.
Charge batteries.
Replace batteries.

Repair or replace battery charger.
