Using the Main Menu
NOTE
When configuring your PTZ keyboard, the RS232 address of your system is set under Device No. in the
Main Menu>
>General>General menu.
To configure RS232 settings for a PTZ keyboard:
1. From the Main Menu, click
2. Configure the following:
• Function: Select Netkeyboard.
• Baud Rate: Select a baud rate that is compatible with your PTZ keyboard.
• Data Bits: Select a data bits setting that is compatible with your PTZ keyboard.
• Stop Bits: Select a stop bit setting that is compatible with your PTZ keyboard.
• Parity: Select a parity setting that is compatible with your PTZ keyboard.
3. Click OK to save changes.

17.3.24 Saving Your System Configuration to a USB Thumb Drive

The system allows you to save your current system configuration to a USB thumb drive
(not included). This is useful if you want to backup your current settings.
NOTE
This function only saves settings created in system menus. It does not save or backup any video.
To save your system configuration to a USB thumb drive:
1. Insert a USB thumb drive (not included) into one of the USB ports.
