The mainboard features two 40-pin dual-channel IDE device connectors
D3
which (IDE1/IDE2) provide support for up to four IDE devices, such as CD-
ROM and Hard Disk Drives (H.D.D.).
This mainboard also includes one 34-pin floppy disk controller (FDC) to
accommodate the Floppy Disk Drive (FDD). It also comes with one 80-pin
ATA 133/100 ribbon cable to connect to IDE H.D.D. and one 34-pin rib-
bon cable for F.D.D. connection.
Important:Ribbon cables are directional, therefore, always connect the red
cable stripe on the same side as pin #1 of the IDE1/IDE2 or FDC
connector on the mainboard.
