8.1.- Antenna Setup

This menu lets you enter the configuration parameters of the antenna.
You can access this menu by pressing the OK button over the "Antenna
Setup" option of the main menu. You can assign satellites, LNBs and
switches to 16 antennas in this menu.
One of the options available in this menu is "Antenna" which has 16
positions to which you can individually assign a specific satellite.
Select one of the 16 antennas using the
the OK button to activate the popup menu.
The first four antennas are assigned by default to the ASTRA, HOTBIRD,
HISPASAT and EUTELSAT F2 satellites.
Assign the appropriate values for each of the following options:
- Satellite: Select one of the 17 satellites that have been preprogrammed
in the receiver.
It also disposes of 14 free satellite positions for future satellites or for
any extra ones which may interest you.
You can deactivate the antenna by selecting the "None" option.
- Universal LNB: Indicate if the LNB in the antenna is universal or not. If
it is, the options "LNB Freq. 1" and "LNB Freq. 2" will remain inactive.
- LNB Freq. 1 / 2: Enter the appropriate frequency for each of the bands
(high and low) if you are not using a universal LNB.
- 14/18V: Select one of the options "None", "14Volt" or "18Volt" to power
the LNB. With the universal LNB, select "None".
- 22KHz: Select one of the options "None", "0KHz" or "22KHz". With the
universal LNB, select "None".
- DiSEqC: If you have a fixed antenna with one LNB, select the "None"
option.
Select one of the following: "Port A", "Port B", "Port C" or "Port D" if your
antenna is a fixed antenna and if it disposes of a multisatellite system,
or if you have two fixed antennas that are pointing to different satellites.
If your antenna is motorised and is controlled by a compatible DiSEqC
1.1 or 1.2 motor, select "Motor". The "Motor Position Setting" option will
be enabled inmediately.
See Annex 1 - "Motor Position Setting" for more information on how it
works.
