15. When the HPV-20 software and the Ruby application software are
installed, connect the serial cable from the Ruby terminal COM 1 to
the e-PC serial port.
16. Do one of the following:
–
If the Ruby terminal is not plugged in, plug in the terminal.
–
If the Ruby terminal is already running, unplug the square plug
from the power supply. Wait 30 seconds then plug the terminal
back into the power supply. (See figure 8.)

17. When Gemstall has completed, the Ruby terminal boots to the
following display:
Insert HPV-20 Card now and press a key
brick.
