Vonage V-Portal User Guide
Vonage V-Portal Web User Interface
For most users, the V-Portal once installed will function properly without adjusting any settings. You can
make phone calls and use it as a router with the default settings. For those times when you need to make
adjustments, or for users with networking knowledge who want to customize the settings, or if you're a DSL
user and need to set up PPPoE, the V-Portal has a Web-based Configuration and Status User Interface
("Web UI").
Introduction to the Web UI
To access the Web UI of the V-Portal:
From a PC connected directly to the Ethernet port of the V-Portal, open a Web browser, such as Microsoft's
Internet Explorer, and type V-Configure.com in the Address bar. Press the Enter key on your keyboard.
NOTE: If you are having trouble accessing the Web UI using V-Configure.com, please try entering
192.168.15.1 in the address bar of your browser.
Enter router in the User Name field.
Enter the password in the Password field. The default password is router. So if you have not changed it,
enter router.
Click on the Go button.
You are now logged in to the Web UI of the V-Portal.
You will remain logged in to the Web UI until you do one of the following:
