Operation/alarm messages
An operation or alarm message is displayed in the
operation/alarm message display area (see page
31) of the viewfinder screen.
LOW Appears, depending on the setting,
LIGHT to indicate the subject illumination
is inadequate.
ON-BOARD Indicates that the backup battery of
BATTERY
the internal clock is empty.
EMPTY
a) Contact a Sony service representative to exchange the
battery.
A message for VDR operation is displayed in the
setting change and adjustment progress message
display area of the viewfinder screen (see page
31). Take the necessary action indicated in the
following table.
ILL. Disc! The disc cannot be used by this
unit. Insert another Professional

FullMAX # format the disc.
Files
DI read The disc was not recognized. Try
errRead ejecting the disc and inserting it
errDRV ADJ again. Or exchange the disc.

Run Salvage Salvage processing needs to be
done on the disc. To record on the
disc, eject the disc, insert it again,
and execute salvage processing.
Salvage NG Salvage processing failed.
