Changing the PIN code
To change the PIN code, set the PIN code (mark [Lock SIM
card]) in advance.

From the Home screen,
[Security] [Set up SIM card lock]

[Change SIM PIN]

Enter the current PIN code [OK]

Enter the new PIN code [OK]

Re-enter the new PIN code [OK]

Turn power ON Enter PIN code on the PIN
code entry screen [OK]

Disabling the PIN lock
If PIN code is locked, unlock PIN and set new PIN code.

Enter Personal Unblocking Key code in the PUK
code field

Enter a new PIN code in the New SIM PIN field

Enter the new PIN code in the Re-type new PIN
field [OK]
By setting to require authentication on the locked screen, you
can prevent others from misusing the terminal.
You can also use authentication operation set in Security
[Settings]
unlock preference when using Password manager.

Setting screen lock authentication
To validate authentication setting for the screen lock, set
Security unlock preference in advance. P105
From the Home screen,
[Security] [Screen lock auth] Authenticate
If you operate from the Home screen,
[Security] Mark [Power button instantly locks], the screen is
locked by pressing X/the fingerprint sensor soon. To cancel
the screen lock, authentication is needed.
