3. Turn lamp / or Turn signal lamp indicator fails
to come on
1.Bulb and bulb socket
Check the bulb and the bulb socket for continuity
2.Flasher switch
Discharge handlebar switch (left) coupler from wire
harness.Check the continuity between
white and dark green
dark brown on the switch.
3. Voltage
Connect the pocket tester (DC20V) to the flashing
relay.
Tester lead Brown terminal
Tester lead Ground wire of frame.
Turn the main switch to
Check the voltage (12V) of
flashing relay terminal
4.Flashing relay
Connect the pocket tester (DC 20V) to the bulb socket
coupler.The connection of right turn lamp:
Tester lead Brown / white terminal
Tester lead Ground wire of frame
Turn the main switch to
signal lamp switch to
the voltage (12V) of brown / white terminal
Pocket tester connecting the flasher relay
Tester lead Black terminal
Tester lead Ground wire of frame
Continuity
brown/
and brown/white and
Continuity
ON
black terminal on
Meets specification
ON .Turn the Turn
L or R .Check
CABLE AND ELECTRIC APPLIANCE SYSTEM
Replace bulb / or bulb socket
Turn signal lamp
handlebar switch (left).
The circuit from the main switch to the flashing
relay terminal is poor, repair it.
Replace flashing relay
