Inspection of signal system
1. The horn doesn t work
1.Horn switch
Discharge the handlebar switch (left) coupler from
wire harness.Check the continuity between
and black on switch
2.Voltage
Connect the pocket tester (DC20V) to the horn wires.
Tester lead Brown terminal
Tester lead Ground wire of frame
Turn the main switch to
Check the horn brown green terminal
Check if the voltage is 12V by pressing the horn button
3.The horn
Connect jumper wire to the horn terminal and other
end to ground
Tester lead Pink terminal
Tester lead Ground wire of frame
Turn the main switch to
Check if the voltage is 12V by pressing the horn button
Adjust or replace it.
