INSTALLING THE CONDENSATE DRAIN ADAPTER

WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
When dripping condensate water at the rear of
the air conditioner becomes a problem, a Con-
densate Drain Adapter (Part #8171429) is avail-
able. The adapter easily mounts to the rear of
the base plate using predrilled holes. Connect
a length of tubing (purchased locally) to the
adapter, and route it away from the air condi-
tioner to a convenient drainage area.

TECH TIPS

IMPORTANT: Never install the adapter on air
conditioners that are not designed for its use,
otherwise damage to the unit may occur.
The Condensate Drain Adapter consists of the
following parts:

2 Hex-Head Screws
