Warning indicators and messages
If indicators and messages appear on the screen, check the following:

Warning indicators

Warning indicator as to file (DCR-
IP7BT only)
Slow flashing:
*The file is corrupted.
*The file is unreadable.
l
You are trying to carry out the MEMORY
MIX function on a moving picture.
C:21:00 Self-diagnosis display (p. 170).
CQ The battery is dead or nearly dead
Slow flashing:
*The battery is nearly dead.
Depending on the operating conditions,
environment and battery condition, the c\
indicatw may flash, even if there are
approximately 5 to 10 minutes remaining.
Fast flashing:
e The battery is dead (p. 18).
[II Moisture condensation has occurred*
Fast flashing:
*Eject the cassette, turn off your
camcorder,
and leave it for about
1
hour
with the cassette
compartment open (p. 179).
LQ Warning indicator as to "Memory Stick"
(DCR-IP7BT only)*
Slow flashing:
*No "Memory Stick" is inserted.
Fast flashing:
a The "Memory Stick" inserted
is
not readable
