Easy network preferences (So-net)
Using the "So-net" option, you can easily set the required Internet and e-mail
preferences. For details on "So-net," see "Using the recommended provider (So-net)"
on page 28, or the supplied flyer "Getting Online now with your Sony Network
Handycam@ camcorder."
Before using the network function, be sure to set up the clock of the camcorder. The
clock is not set up at the default setting.
You also have to set up the camcorder and the peripheral device, and complete the
required registrations (DI* customer registration, Internet service provider sign-up,
etc.).
* "DI" is short for Digital Imaging.
To use the functions in the NETWORK mode fully, you have to complete the following
registrations and setup tasks via your camcorder:
@ DI customer registration (p. 23)
@Album registration (p. 26)
(When you want to carry out your album registration after completing the DI
customer registration, see page 27.)
@ "So-net" registration (p. 29)
(When you want to carry out your "So-net" registration after completing the DI
customer registration, see page 30.)
@Network setup (p. 32)
(If you set your provider preferences manually, see page 37.)
The above registrations can also be done on the Web site using a computer. Access the
following URL "http://www.myimagecam.com/" and follow the on-screen guidance.
