Verify cabling and network equipment for proper

Be sure that both ends of the data cable are securely
connected.
Be sure that the cable is attached to the correct connector.
Be sure that the cable and device at the other end are
operating correctly.
Under the Computer Setup (F10) Utility Advanced menu,
change the resource settings for the board.
Replace the network interface controller (NIC).
1. Ensure the network drivers are loaded and that the
driver parameters match the configuration of the
network controller.
2. Ensure the correct network client and protocol is
installed.
Double-click the Network icon in the Control Panel and
configure the network controller.
Under the Computer Setup (F10) Utility Advanced menu,
change the resource settings for the board.
Verify that the drivers were not accidentally deleted when
the drivers for a new expansion board were installed.
Under the Computer Setup (F10) Utility Advanced menu,
change the resource settings for the board.
Reinstall the network drivers, using the Restore Plus! CD.
Be sure that both ends of the cable are securely attached
to the correct devices.
Replace the NIC.
Install a working, industry-standard NIC, or change the
