The drivers support English, French, Italian, German, Czech,
Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazilian), Danish, Japanese,
Korean, Chinese - simplified, and Chinese - traditional.
For users on a TCP/IP network, the PostScript drivers for
Windows 95/98/Me and for Windows NT 4.0/2000/XP
offer additional communication tools, including:
•E-mail job completion notification: Convenient for users
who rely on a remotely located printer, e-mail job comple-
tion notification sends a designated person an email when
a print job is completed. This feature is activated through
the printer driver by simply supplying the appropriate
Internet e-mail address.
•Consumables monitoring: The driver displays consum-
able levels through gas gauge style readers, letting
users know how much of each supply remains before
sending their print job.
•Quick Config: This same driver can automatically
detect any options that have been added to the PagePro
9100 N and "install" them into the driver. For example,
if a high-capacity feeder is added to the printer, Quick
Config tells the driver it's available.
•Proof-Then-Print: When selected, users have the
opportunity to review one copy of a document before
allowing the remaining copies to print.
For businesses using a PostScript driver supplied by the
manufacturer of their host operating system,
MINOLTA-QMS offers WPD/PPD files. These files "sup-
plement" the user's driver, making printer features acces-
sible.
