The PagePro 9100 N offers several ways to know immedi-
ately (and from the convenience of the desktop) how
much toner remains in the printer.
This convenient feature is practical, ensuring, for example,
that enough toner remains before sending a large or high-
quantity print job. It's also helpful in stocking supplies.
Instead of keeping large quantities on hand, companies
can keep a just-in-time inventory of supplies, requesting
new consumables when a certain percentage remains.
The PagePro 9100 N offers users several ways to view
consumable levels:
•PostScript driver for Windows 95/98/Me
•PostScript driver for Windows NT 4.0/2000/XP
•CrownView printer-resident Web page
•Consumables usage page
The PostScript drivers for Windows 95/98/Me and
Windows NT 4.0/2000/XP use easy-to-read gas-gauge
displays for conveying consumable levels. Users simply
click on the "Consumables" tab in the driver to verify
remaining levels before they click print. This feature is
supported over TCP/IP only.
