• When carrying out communications on the E5GN j03j, connect the
communications cable across terminal Nos.5 and 6.

• The RS 485 connection can be either one to one to one to N. Up to 32
units including the host computer can be connected in one to N systems.
Use shielded, twisted pair cable (AWG 28 or larger), and keep the total
cable length to 500 m.
• Specify both ends of the transmission path including the host computer
as the end node (that is, connect terminators to both ends).
The maximum terminal resistance is 54 Ohms.
