Electrical Requirements:
Electrical Shock Hazard
Plug into a grounded (3-prong) outlet.
Do not remove ground prong.
Do not use an extension cord.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in
injury, re, or electrical shock.
It is mandatory that the grounded path is adequate.
Check with a quali ed electrician if you are not sure if the electrical replace is grounded.
A three-wire, single-phase, 60Hz/AC only, electrical supply is required on a separate circuit. See
model and serial nameplate label for circuit amperage required for your speci c model.
We strongly suggested that your electrical replace should have its own fuse or circuit breaker, and
no other device or unit would be operated on this fuse or circuit breaker.
This heater is for use on 110-127 volts. The cord has a plug as shown at (A) in following Figure. An
adapter shown at (C) is available for connecting three-blade grounding-type plugs to two-slot
receptacles. The green grounding lug extending from the adapter must be connected to a permanent
ground such as a properly grounded outlet box. The adapter should not be used if a three-slot
grounded receptacle is available.
If a mating 3-prong type outlet is not available, it is the consumer's responsibility to have a properly
grounded, 3-prong outlet installed by a licensed installer.
