11.3 Making Folded Booklet: Multi Half Fold/ Fold & Staple/
Trimming
The machine with Finisher FS-611 installed provides Multi Half Fold and
Fold & Staple modes to make a folded, or folded and stapled booklet in com-
bination with Booklet feature in Application.
Also with Trimmer Unit TU-502 installed, the Trimming function is available
to trim the fore edge of folded or folded and stapled booklet.
Multi Half Fold
Prerequisites
0 Use ADF.
0 Paper size: 11" × 17" w, 8.5" × 14" w, 8.5" × 11" w, A3 w, B4 w, A4 w
0 Paper weight: 17 to 28 lb (Insertions are available up to 57 lb.)
0 Max. number of sheets in each mode
Multi Half Fold: 3 sheets (20 lb paper)
Fold & Staple: 20 sheets/ 19 sheets when using a thick cover
Multi Half Fold + Trimming: 3 sheets
Fold & Staple + Trimming: 16 sheets/ 15 sheets when using a thick cover
0 Folding mode tray capacity: Approx. 100 sheets at maximum
Half Fold: 33 sets max. of 3-sheet-folded booklet (33 × 3 = 99 sheets)
Fold & Staple: 20 sets max. of 5-sheet-folded booklet (20 × 5 = 100
sheets)
0 Trimmer unit tray capacity: Approx. 512 sheets at maximum
100 sets max. of 2 to 5-sheet-folded booklet (500 sheets max.)
50 sets max. of 6 to 10-sheet-folded booklet (500 sheets max.)
32 sets max. of 11 to 16-sheet-folded booklet (512 sheets max.)
25 sets max. of 17 to 20-sheet-folded booklet (500 sheets max.)
