Recommended Installation Procedure

1. If installing a VIPET fitted with VIPET-PSU-24V PSU with Earth Lift switch, ensure that the Earth Lift
switch is set to the correct position.

2. Fit the VIPET unit to a 19-inch standard equipment rack on supporting rails, and secure the unit in
position using the fixing screws.

Ensure that there is at least 1U of ventilated space between the unit and any source of heat

(e.g. V400 amplifier mainframes).

The rail supporting the right side of the VIPET (viewed from the front) must not obstruct the
ventilation holes on the unit's bottom side.
