Connect the USB cable to the VIPET-SERIAL-4 unit (if used) and the appropriate VIPET USB port.

If installing VIPET-PSU-MAINS, connect the power supply cabling (as appropriate) to the rear panel
IEC320 socket.
The mains powered VIPET requires a mains filter for EMC compliance, and for protection against

voltage surges.
The VIPET mains filter needs to be ordered as part of the VIPET system, as ASL item VIPET-
MAINS-FILTER, and should be installed as shown in Figure 3.

If installing VIPET-PSU-24V, connect the dual power supply (as appropriate) to the rear panel Wago
connectors observing carefully the polarity.
a.
Use one of the two methods shown in the following diagram to terminate the DC Power Supply
cabling in the Wago connectors.
b.
When the screwdriver is removed, the bare end of the wire will be held securely by the contact
spring.
c.
To remove the wire, reverse the process.
9.
The installation is complete.
The VIPET software is supplied pre-configured for its specific application. Please refer to ASL for further
information and support.
