Green LED
Lit when power is applied to the VIPET main board
Green LED
Flashes depending on the VIPET state:
Powered down
Booting up
Running
Shutting down
Maintenance
mode
Lit when a critical system fault is present.
The VIPET is removed from the audio path when this LED is lit.
Amber LED
This fault indication is cleared when the ASL Router "FAULT
CLEAR" button is pressed and re-raised if the fault still exists.
Lit when an active fault relating to the VIPET is present in the ASL
Router fault log.
Amber LED
This fault indication is cleared when the ASL Router "FAULT
CLEAR" button is pressed and re-raised if the fault still exists.
Both buttons have the same function:
•
Short press (< 1 second)
Starts up the VIPET (if previously powered off), or shuts it down (if previously
powered up)
•
Longer press (> 1 second & < 5 seconds) during the boot sequence
Causes the VIPET to enter Maintenance Mode.
To leave Maintenance Mode, the VIPET should be shut down and then re-started
using one of the power buttons.
•
Press of > 5 seconds at any time
Causes an instant VIPET power-down.
It is recommended that the VIPET be turned off using one of the power buttons before
power is removed from the VIPET, or if the RS232 connection to the ASL Router is to be
removed.

Flashing 500ms ON, 500ms OFF.
Blinking OFF briefly every second.
Flashing 100ms ON, 100ms OFF.
