Remove 3 screws at the bottom of the unit. These screws will be used to fix the unit to the shelf. The shelf which is supplied for mounting the VIPET-SERIAL-4 interface supports two units. The screws to be removed depend on the unit’s position on the shelf.

The mains powered VIPET requires a mains filter for EMC compliance, and for protection against voltage surges. The VIPET mains filter needs to be ordered as part of the VIPET system, as ASL item VIPET- MAINS-FILTER, and should be installed as shown in Figure 3.
