Monitor LUT Function

The Monitor LUT (Look Up Table) function is
available during S-Log operation with the
PMW-F3 combined with the SR-R1, and during
playback on the SR-R1 of an SRMemory card
that was recorded using S-Log with the F65
combined with the SR-R4. If you are using S-Log
or another gamma curve at the shooting site and
want to view the shooting data on a monitor with
normal ITU-BT709 gamma, you can use a LUT
file to convert the HD SDI OUT (MON)
connector 1/2 output.
LUT files
LUT files are loaded from a "Memory Stick" (/
MSSONY/PRO/SRMASTER/R1/LUT) into the
LUT banks of this unit. You can load up to four
LUT files into Bank0 to Bank3. Once they have
been loaded into banks, the files are retained even
after this unit is powered off. When you select a
LUT file by selecting one of the banks, the
content of the file will be transferred and used.
Use LUT files with extension ".lut" on this unit.
Change the extension, if it is not ".lut".
For the format of LUT files that can be loaded by this
unit, see "LUT file format" (page 95).
Use the CvpFileEditor
files. The latest version of CvpFileEditor can be
downloaded from the Sony professional products
software download site, "eCSite."
