Step 6. Perform the action that first revealed the trouble.

The trouble remains,
The trouble no longer appears,
Step 7. Connect the Z400F Adapter back into the 103A Modular Jack.
Step 8. Connect the power supply back into the ac outlet.

IF TROUBLE REMAINS

If you have not located the cause of the trouble, go on to "HOW TO SELECT THE
CORRECT PROCEDURE."
Basic Trouble Tests
THEN
The voice terminal power supply
was not the source of the trouble.
Go on to Step 7.
Trouble found. It is caused by
the voice terminal power supply.
Do not reconnect the adapter.
