Step 14. Check the modular jack(s) to make sure there are no broken wires, that
the wires are tightly inserted in their notches, that wires are not touching
each other, and that the wires are inserted in the correct order. See Fig-
ure 21.

Trouble on One Voice Terminal
THEN
The trouble is not caused by the
wiring. Replace the plastic caps by
aligning them and applying pres-
sure until they snap into place.
Replace the jack cover and tighten
the screw. Call your equipment
supplier for help.
Trouble found. It is caused by
the modular to modular connector
in the jack panel that is connected
to the voice terminal with trouble.
