Trouble on More Than One Voice Terminal
Step 19. Call your local telephone company to report the number(s) of the outside
line(s) with trouble. You have now completed TEST B.
Step 20. You should use this step only if you do not have a power failure transfer
telephone or any other standard modular telephone. Refer to the notes
which you made (Test A: Control Unit Test, Steps 3 through 5) to deter-
mine if the trouble appears on one or on more than one outside line.

Step 21. Select two modular line cords to be tested, one which has trouble and one
which does not have trouble. See Figure 32 for the location of the modular
line cords to be switched. If necessary, you can refer to your system direc-
tory to determine the line (A, B, C, D, E, F, G, or H) that corresponds to
each telephone number.
Step 22. At the control unit, switch the two modular line cords selected in Step 21
(see Figure 32).
