Step 9.
Place an outside call using the standard modular telephone, and make a
note of what happened.

Following Steps A and B below, place the modular line cords back in their
original positions:
A. Unplug the modular line cord from the standard modular telephone
and plug the cord back into the control unit Tel. Co. Lines jack.
B. Plug the standard modular telephone cord back into the base of the
telephone.
Following Steps A and B below, connect the cord of the standard modular

they were, then go to the "Tel. Co.
Lines Test" in the "Test C: 2-
Line/5-Terminal Expansion
Module Test" section.
Go on to Step 10.
