4.Spark check
• Remove the spark plug cap.
• Connect the ignition checker
Ground
a Spark plug gap
• Turn the main switch to "ON".
• Start the engine.
• Check the length of the spark gap.
• Increase the spark length until the engine
begins to misfire.
Minimum spark gap:
6 mm
5.Spark plug cap resistance
• Disconnect the spark plug cap.
• Connect the pocket tester (Ωx1k) to the
ignition coil.
• Check the resistance of the spark plug cap.
Spark plug cap resistance:
Ω °
5k (20 C)
