REMOVING THE LOWER BRACKET

1.Stand the scooter on a level surface.
WARNING
Securely support the scooter so that there is
no danger of it falling over.
2.Remove:
• upper ring nut
• lock washer
3.Remove:
• center ring nut
• rubber washer
• lower ring nut
NOTE:
Hold the lower ring nut
wrench , and then remove the center ring nut
with the ring nut wrench.

WARNING

CHECKING THE STEERING HEAD

1.Wash:
• bearing balls
• bearing races
Recommended cleaning solvent
Kerosene
2.Check:
• bearing balls
• bearing races
Damage/pitting → Replace.
