CRANKSHAFT REMOVAL

1. Attach :
• Crankcase separating tool
Crankcase separating tool :
90890-01135
2. Remove :
• Crankshaft

CRANKSHAFT INSPECTION

1. Measure :
• Runout limit " C"
• Connecting rod big end side clearance "D"
• Small end free play limit "F"
Out of specification→Replace.
Use V-blocks, dial gauge and thickness
gauge.
Runout limit "C" :
0.03 mm
Connecting rod big end side
clearance "D":
0.2 ~ 0.5 mm
Small end free play " F" :
0.4 ~ 0.8 mm
2. Inspect:
• Bearings (crankshaft)
Spin the bearing inner race.
Excessive play/Roughness→Replace.
Pitting/Damage→Replace.
