Replace drum unit

The „DRUM UNIT WARNING" message in the display indicates that the fax machine will only print out a further
approx. 300 documents (depending on the print density). If you fail to change the drum in this period, the
„REPLACE DRUM UNIT" message appears in the display; this indicates that the fax machine will not print out
any more documents. If the drum unit is not replaced, incoming fax documents are saved in memory.
After replacing the drum unit, the drum unit counter must be reset
1. Open the fax machine by
pressing the release button.
2. Remove the developer
assembly by pulling it out of
the fax machine with the green
grip.

Connecting your fax machine

Connect your fax machine (LINE jack) to the telephone socket, as shown on the right.
Liability in case of wrong connection by the user is excluded.
In the UK, connection of an external telephone or cordless telephone should be made at the socket on the
"break in adaptor". The "break in adaptor" is the small white box found at the end of the telephone cable
supplied with the DP80F/85F in the UK.
3. Subsequently pull the expended
drum unit out of the fax machine
with the green grip.

back and recycled by your
TOSHIBA dealer.
