Permanent monitoring

When a fax transmission is monitored, the call establishment attempt is played back via the built-in speaker.
This means that you have an additional acoustic check for monitoring the call establishment procedure. This
facility is useful whenever a connection is not established. This is frequently due to a wrong number or a fax
machine that is not ready to receive.
In this setting, all transmission procedures are played back via the speaker.

Basic setting, document length

In the basic setting of your fax machine, the document length is limited to one meter. If the document is longer
than one meter, the machine displays the error message "document jam" after one meter is exceeded, and the
transmitted is interrupted. You are able to disable this restriction to prevent this from happening.
