Preventing erroneous menu display operations (Key lock function)

Menu display key entry can be made unacceptable. This function is
called the key lock function.
The key lock function can be set/reset using this procedure:
Press the
key and the
MARK
"
" will be displayed at the top left corner of the screen to
indicate that the key lock function has been made valid. When
the key lock function is displayed in white, no menu display key
entry is accepted.
Press the
key and the
MARK
keyhole mark "
disappear to indicate that the key lock function has been made
invalid.
The key lock function is operative only for the main menu and the
FISH FINDER SETTING menu. This function is inoperative for the
CUSTOM/RECORD menu, the

Error messages

Undertake the specified remedies if the following error messages are
displayed:
CANNOT BACK UP!
This message indicates that storage of the current data settings has
failed.
Remedy
Please contact your JRC product dealer or the JRC sales or service
representative in your area.
ILLEGAL BACKUP DATA!
This message indicates that since they were incorrect for some reason
during power-on, the loading of the saved previous data settings has
failed.
Remedy
Please contact your JRC product dealer or the JRC sales or service
representative in your area.
