Caution :
Safety significant parts.
Product safety should be considered when a component replacement is made in
any area of the projector. Components indicated by mark (
and the schematic diagram designate components in which safety can be of spe-
cial significance. It is, therefore, particularly recommended that the replace-
ment of the parts must be made by exactly the same parts.
Readjustments after parts replacement.
-- Assembly main --
When it is replaced with new one, the memory
ICs should be returned.
The memory ICs IC871 and IC1181 on the assem-
bly main memorize the adjusted data, the lamp illu-
mination time data, the set data, etc. for this projec-
tor. When the assembly main is replaced with new
one, the IC871 and IC1181 which have memorized
each data should be installed to new assembly main
from damaged assembly main. Then this projector
can maintain the former state, and readjusting is
unnecessary.
Caution :
If the IC871 and IC1181 are not replaced, lamp
illumination time starts from an initial value
compulsorily. You can not set the value of the
previous lamp illumination time. Therefore,
when the useful life of the lamp passes, the
LAMP REPLACE indicator do not light. It will
have been using the lamp over which the useful
life passed. It may cause the burst of the lamp. If
you do not replace the memory ICs, we recom-
mend to replace the assembly lamp a little early.
About the following case, readjusting is needed:
