Description of controller hardware
Input port:
The system contains 5 test ports designed for high/low pressure test, digital compressor
overload, constant speed compressor overload 1 and constant speed compressor overload 2
(used when 3 compressors are available)
Output port:
The system contains 9 output control ports including PWM valve, 4-way valve, digital compressor/
constant-speed compressor main power supply, high/medium/low wind, SI (reserved as the main
power supply for the second constant-speed compressor of the 3 compressor systems, if
applicable) and riving port for electronic expansion valve.
Sensor test port
The system has 7 temperature test ports designed to test the temperature of the digital
compressor exhaust, ambient temperature, return-air temperature, the bottom temperature of
compressor, inlet temperature, midlet temperature and outlet temperature (Note: The flow
direction of the refrigerant inside the coils when the system is running in cooling mode determines
the inflow and outflow direction described in this document).
Communication port:
The system has two RS485 communication ports. One network with the indoor units and the other
is used for internetworking control.
K1 & K2 Setting :
1. When outdoor unit is off condition (but control energised),
A: Press K1 for five seconds to enter commissioning mode. Expansion valve of outdoor unit will
fully open, and Digital Display Device ( hereinafter DDD ) will show the step of expansion
valve open. Indoor unit will receive a signal to fully open the expansion valve of indoor unit.
This function is for vacuuming use only. Off the power to quit commissioning mode and re-
energise:
B: Press K2 for five seconds to enter parameter setting mode, DDD will display " - - - - " Enter
the password 0755, the following parameter can be adjusted:
a: Number of indoor units
b: Start inspection temp for defrosting (Temp range : -3 ~ 3°C Default Value : 0 degC)
c: Defrosting temp (Temp range : -7~ 0°C Default Value : -3 degC)
d: Complete defrosting temp (Temp range : 5 ~ 25°C Default Value : 13 degC)
e: Defrosting interval (range : 20 ~ 90min Default Value : 45 minutes)
f: Defrosting running period (range : 5 ~ 25min Default Value : 10 minutes)
Within five seconds since DDD start to display " - - - - ", press K1 to enter proper digit ( 0~9),
then press K2 to confirm. After all four digit of password are correct, DDD will display the
number of indoor units, press the K1 to change the numbers, and then press K2 to confirm.
If do not want to change parameter, press K2 directly to skip into next parameter setting.
When all parameter display once, press K2 to quit the parameter setting. If interval between
two key press is longer than 5 seconds, it will automatically quit setting mode
2. Press K1 in short period, DDD display can change over for current data or setting data
3. Press K2 in short period, DDD will display history error code, which includes all outdoor unit
faults and communication faults between indoor and outdoor unit ( No indoor unit fault record ).
Maximum record is 16 errors, the oldest one will be deleted if exceed 16
Error Code Display Format
i.e. 02F2
02 is the second error, F2 is error code.
4. Press K1 and K2 at the same time for 5 seconds to delete all fault records and go back to
parameter display mode
5. Communication Error Code Format : CX . X is sequence no of indoor unit.
If second indoor unit has communication problem with outdoor unit, error code is C2
If all the indoor unit have communication problem with outdoor unit, error code is C-
