NOTICE:
To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically touching an unpainted metal surface
(such as the back panel) on the computer.
 Removing the Audio Board
 
1. Follow the instructions in
Before You
 
2. Press and eject any installed cards from the ExpressCard slot and the 8-in-1 memory card reader.
 
3. Remove any installed memory modules and Mini-Cards (see

Removing the Palm
 
5. Remove the screw that secures the audio board and disconnect the audio board cable from the connector on the system board.

6. Lift the audio board and the cable out of the computer base.
 Replacing the Audio Board
 
1. Place the audio board in the computer base and replace the screw that secures it.
 
2. Connect the audio board cable to the connector on the system board.
 
3. Follow the instructions in
Replacing the Palm
 
4. Reinstall the memory modules and Mini-Cards, if any.
 
5. Reinstall any removed cards in the ExpressCard and 8-in-1 card slots.
 
NOTICE:
Before turning on the computer, replace all screws and ensure that no stray screws remain inside the computer. Failure to do so may
result in damage to the computer.
