To help prevent damage to the system board, you must remove the battery from the battery bay before you begin working inside the
computer.
 Removing the Coin-Cell Battery
 
1. Follow the procedures in

2. Turn the computer over and remove the base cover (see

3. Use a plastic scribe to push the coin cell battery forward and upward to release it from the slot.
